When a guy tells me to carry a folder, I wonder if he knows what he's talking about. A folder rehires fine motor skill at a time when fine motor skill is degraded by stress. The fastest knife to bring into action is a fixed blade of reasonably small size. That brings to the Colonel Blades Lo Viz ( see their site to order and UA-cam videos ). If you must carry a folder, find a sheath that will hold it in the opened mode. 😎
